Start with a controlled material list
Give every material line a reference number. Record the grade, product standard and edition, required delivered condition, thickness, width, length and quantity. Use one unit system consistently. When ordering parts, distinguish the finished dimensions from a stock blank that includes machining or cutting allowance. If you have not selected a grade, say so and explain the application rather than entering a guess.
Attach the right drawing
A panel or shaped blank requires more than its outside dimensions. Include the drawing revision, hole pattern, borders, folded returns, fixing points and acceptance tolerances. Mark any visible face, orientation requirement or edge treatment. Send a controlled drawing for quotation and identify whether it is preliminary or approved for manufacture. Drawings are attached in the email or WhatsApp conversation after you prepare the online summary.
Describe finish and exposure together
Choose between mill finish, natural weathering and a separately agreed pre-weathering or coating process. Include any approved sample reference and the intended viewing conditions. Describe the site environment, especially coastal exposure, deicing salts, persistent moisture, soil contact or sheltered areas. These details help prevent appearance expectations from being mistaken for material acceptance criteria.
Make the commercial basis clear
Add the destination, requested schedule, packing requirements and preferred delivery basis with its named place or port. Identify the required inspection records before quotation. The website RFQ creates a structured summary in your browser. Review it, copy or download it if needed, then send it to cs@jiujianggrp.com or through WhatsApp. Generating the summary does not transmit it or create a purchase order.
