Begin with the purchase specification
Quality requirements should be explicit from the inquiry stage. Identify the exact grade, product standard and edition, condition, dimensions and supplementary tests. Match the document package to the project rather than assuming that every order requires the same records.
Agree the inspection and document scope
- Material identification and heat / batch references
- Required inspection document and reported test scope
- Dimensional and surface acceptance criteria
- Third-party inspection requirements, where specified
- Cut-part traceability and packing-list references
Availability of a particular certificate, test or inspection arrangement must be confirmed for the actual order. Request samples of the proposed documentation for review where appropriate.
Separate surface appearance from material acceptance
A brown patina cannot prove a steel grade. Review material identity through the agreed documents and marking. For architectural work, add a separate visual acceptance process covering finish samples, orientation and acceptable variation.
Ask for verifiable qualification records
Contact the team for current company qualification documents and the confirmed supply arrangements for your requirement. This website does not publish unverified factory capacity, certifications or customer project claims. Representative industrial photographs should not be used as supplier-audit evidence.
