Start with the project details.
A weathering steel façade is a complete assembly: material, panel geometry, support, joints and drainage all affect the result. Discuss the exposure on each elevation and the relationship with surrounding stone, glass and paving. A finish sample should support a realistic conversation about variation rather than promise a permanently uniform color.
Questions to resolve
- Approved base grade and panel thickness
- Fixings, supports, ventilation and movement allowance
- Water shedding and the protection of adjacent finishes
- Visual sample, panel orientation and installation sequence
Material and component inquiries
Cladding blanks, folded-panel inquiries and exterior screening.
Share the approved grade, drawings, dimensions and required documentation. Material selection, structural design and installation details must be coordinated by the responsible project team. Processing and supply scope are confirmed in the quotation.
